Kotla's record is 'Bat' first
Going by the  Kotla’s previous  record, toss will play a crucial role  'win the toss and bat' is usually the advice handed out to every skipper.. Sehwag is playing on his favorite ground and it is estimated that he will play well on this ground.

Indian team will have to devise a strategy  to counter Pakistan players  in both batting and bowling and to win  this match .Pakistan won the first two one day matches and is eager to clean sweep the series.
The high pressure has been built on the Indians who have been plagued by an inexplicable form slump of their star batsmen while the limited and inexperienced bowling resources have compounded the misery for the hosts who have now sunk to a new low with the recent debacles.

Most of the Team India players are not in form. The bilateral series with Pakistan is being played after five years.
The hosts lost the first game in Chennai by six wickets and the second in Kolkata by 85 runs to give their arch foes their first series win on Indian soil since 2004-05.
